Learn the foundational skills in art critique and the curatorial process, enhancing your ability to evaluate artwork critically and engage with the broader artistic community through a simulated juried exhibition experience.

Emerging and established artists seeking to improve their critical thinking skills, self-assessment techniques, and understanding of the exhibition process.
● Day 1: Introduction to Art Critique
Participants will learn to evaluate and critique their own artwork as well as the work of other artists.
● Day 2: Collaborative Curation and Mock Exhibition
Each participant will create a mock exhibition, curating and selecting works from the group.
1. Understanding of Art Critique Elements: Participants will learn the fundamental components of art critique, allowing them to analyze their own works and those of others constructively.
2. Experience in Curation: Through hands-on activities, artists will engage in the evaluation, selection, and arrangement of artworks for a mock exhibition. Develop an understanding of rejection from juried exhibitions.
3. Enhanced Peer Interaction: Participants will foster connections with fellow artists, enhancing their professional network and collaborative opportunities.
