Artist statements, bios & elevator pitch; the written statement and the spoken pitch are two sides of the same coin, both require the artist to distill their practice into clear, compelling language, but for very different contexts. Writing about your own work is notoriously hard.
This workshop teaches artists the difference between an artist statement and a bio and how to write both, tailored for different audiences. Learn how to distill this finished content into a 30 and 60 second spoken elevator pitch.
